Tempting the Nanny

Chapter 1: The Job

Sophie had no business taking a nanny job in a mansion like this.

But student loans and desperation will do that to a girl.

Then she met him — Damon Cole.

CEO. Widower. Tall, cold, and gorgeous. His jaw was made of steel and his gaze? Unreadable.

“This is temporary,” he said as he handed her the baby monitor. “Boundaries are key.”

“Yes, sir,” she replied, trying not to blush at how formal that sounded in her mouth.

But she already knew.

This job was going to be complicated.

Chapter 2: Boundaries Broken

The baby, Ava, was an angel. But it was Damon who haunted Sophie at night.

She’d hear him pacing the halls shirtless. Watch him work out in the home gym, sweat glistening over carved muscle.

They passed in the kitchen one night. She was in a silk robe. He was half-dressed.

“You should be asleep,” he said.

“I could say the same.”

His eyes dragged down her body — slow. Possessive. He didn’t touch her.

But the air around them crackled.

Chapter 3: The Rainstorm

It stormed one night. Ava cried.

Sophie ran in first. Damon joined. They both calmed her, together, standing inches apart in the darkness.

“You’re good with her,” he said, voice husky.

“So are you.”

The storm got louder. So did Sophie’s heartbeat.

He didn’t kiss her.

But his hand brushed her waist when he reached for the bottle.

Her breath hitched. And he noticed.

“Go to bed, Sophie.”

But his voice said: Stay.

Chapter 4: Temptation Unleashed

She couldn’t sleep.

Neither could he.

She found him in the kitchen again — shirtless, leaning against the counter.

This time, she didn’t say anything.

She walked straight to him, stood toe to toe, and whispered, “Tell me to stop.”

He didn’t.

He kissed her like a man who hadn’t touched in years. Like every ache he buried had her name on it.

He lifted her onto the marble counter. Her robe fell. His hand slid under her thigh.

And she let him.

Chapter 5: Heat Behind Closed Doors

For days, they pretended nothing happened.

But their eyes said everything.

Until he pulled her into his office one afternoon, slammed the door, and pressed her against it.

“I haven’t stopped thinking about the way you taste,” he said.

“Then don’t.”

She was his on the desk. Over it. Bent. Breathless. Begging.

And when he moaned her name into her skin, she knew:

There was no going back.

Chapter 6: The Fallout

It didn’t stay secret for long.

His mother found out. The board heard rumors. He told them all to go to hell.

“I’m not firing her,” Damon said.

Sophie stood frozen. “You’d risk your company for me?”

“I’d risk everything.”

She kissed him in front of the board. And when he carried her out in his arms, no one dared stop him.

Chapter 7: Happily His

He proposed six months later — in the nursery.

Ava held the ring.

Sophie said yes with tears in her eyes and heat still in her heart.

Damon whispered, “You were never just the nanny.”

And in his arms, she finally felt like home.

The End.
